Dave graduated from Clemson University in 1993 with a B.S. in Forest Management. He began working with Milliken Forestry in 1994 as a GIS Specialist and developed Milliken’s GIS Forestry services. Dave also developed Milliken’s Forestry Certification services and has experience with FSC, SFI and Tree Farm Certification systems. His deep experience in timberland management crosses institutional, investment and private landowner holdings. Dave is a Registered Forester in SC, NC and GA and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Milliken Forestry Company.

Gary Springer

Gary is a 1999 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Forest Resource Management. Gary joined Milliken Forestry in 1999 and worked with institutional investors, TIMO clients and Milliken Forestry's appraisal department before moving to the private landowner staff in 2005. Gary’s professional experience includes creating financially productive timber management plans for his clients while emphasizing wildlife habitat improvements and visual appeal. A licensed real estate agent since 2013, he develops marketing strategies for listed properties and continues to assist experienced and first-time investors in timberland acquisitions.

Billy Cate

Billy received a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Clemson University.  He has an extensive background in both business and agriculture.  He has been selling farmland and timberland for MFC and RLI since 2002.  Long active in forestry circles, he is a past chairman of the Forestry Association of SC and past chairman of the Advisory Board for Forestry and Natural Resources at Clemson University.

Rob Drummond

Licensed SC Real Estate Broker, NC & SC Registered Forester

Rob earned his B.S. degree in Forest Management from Clemson University in 1979. Following three years as a self-employed consulting forester, he joined Milliken Forestry in 1982. With over 30 years at MFC, Rob has worked in nearly all phases of business to include timber marking, timber cruising, controlled burning, timber sales, reforestation and business development. As a member of Society of American Foresters, he has served as Chair of Central Carolina Chapter, Science and Technology Chair, and APSAF Meeting Planning Committee member. Rob is also a member of the SC Forestry Association and serves on the SFI Committee. He is a Registered Forester in SC and NC, a SC Certified Prescribed Fire Manager and a SC Licensed Real Estate Broker. Rob enjoys being active in the field, helping timberland owners achieve their objectives, and mentoring young foresters in their careers.

Christian Ingraham

Christian is a Navy Veteran and graduate of Clemson University where he earned a B.S. in Forest Resource Management with a minor in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. Christian began his forestry career with Weyerhaeuser in the pacific northwest where he assisted with silvicultural project management, harvest operation safety and quality control, and endangered species habitat identification and analysis. In 2017 Christian returned home to SC where he joined Milliken Advisors as a consultant working in a variety of forest management capacities. In 2020, Christian accepted the position of Forest Certification Manager where he manages the daily operations of the company’s group certification program and assists clients with special forest projects including certification, conservation, and restoration. Christian is a Registered Forester in SC, NC, GA, AL, and MS, and is also a Certified Tree Farm Inspector and Timber Operations Professional. When not working, you will likely find Christian in the outdoors searching for his next hunting or fishing adventure. Whether buying or selling, Christian is dedicated to helping clients meet their goals and objectives.

Angus is a Clemson graduate and has practiced as a Consulting Forester for five decades including 46 years with Milliken Forestry, where he served as President and Chairman. He has extensive experience and knowledge of forestry and land ownership in the Southeast. He is a long standing member of the Association of Consulting Foresters of America, Society of America Foresters, past Chair of the South Carolina Forestry Association and Longleaf Alliance. He is a Registered Forester and Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Deborah Moore is the RLI Listing Manager, who has a  thriving interest in assisting clients to meet their real estate goals. After spending over a decade working in the medical field, Deborah is engaged in each transaction, working with the RLI Agents and Brokers, connecting people, you’re trying to help, and communicating understanding back to them. Deborah has experience in residential real estate and property management and is a member of the local CMLS. In addition to her real estate experience, she is a photographer and knows the importance of mastering images for marketing. In her spare time, Deborah enjoys spending time with family and travel.

Billy McTeer

Licensed SC Real Estate Agent

Billy received a B.S. degree from Clemson University in 1975 and a M.S. degree in wildlife biology in 1978. He started working for the SCDNR in 1978 where he created the Small Game Program to work with private landowners to improve their land for small game animals such as the bobwhite quail. He was honored as the first recipient of the Havilah Babcock Award for Excellence in bobwhite quail management. Billy held various titles with the SCDNR including director of legislative services and retired as Deputy Director of the Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. Upon his retirement, he worked as a private consultant, received his real estate license, and has been selling real estate for three years. He enjoys selling recreational property and helping potential landowners find the property best suited to meet their goals. Billy is a certified wildlife biologist and is the Past President of the South Carolina Chapter of the Wildlife Society.

Benjamin Royer

Ben Royer graduated from Maryville College in May 2010 with two Bachelor of Arts Degrees: Environmental Studies and Spanish. He also graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and the College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries in 2014 with a Master of Science in Forestry. He studied forest resource management, harvest scheduling, and modeling under Dr. Don Hodges and contributed to ongoing research on prescribed fire. Ben came to South Carolina in 2014 to work with Plum Creek Timber Company in Columbia, SC, and then following the merger with Weyerhaeuser in 2016, he opted to stay in SC and accepted a position with Milliken Forestry Company. He is registered as a Forester (#1918) and a Certified General Appraiser (#7583) in South Carolina, and he is certified by the Society of American Foresters (#53154). Ben currently works as an appraiser and forester with Rural Land Investments and enjoys helping his clients with valuations of timberland and other rural land properties.

William Sligh

William is a 1982 graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Forest Management. He has spent the last 38 years as a procurement forester, including 16 years with Stone Container. The last 20 years were spent with Jordan Lumber and Supply, where he is semi-retired. A registered Forester in SC and NC, William is on the Board of Registration for Foresters in SC. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Forestry Association of SC.

Travis Spainhour

Travis graduated from Clemson University in 2001 with an M.S. in Forest Resource Management.  He began his career in forestry with the South Carolina Forestry Commission in December of 2000.  His primary duty at the Commission was to assist landowners and foresters with maintaining a healthy forest.  In 2003, Travis moved to the private sector. He has spent the last 18 years working in Land Management throughout the state of South Carolina.  His focus has been on timber production, improving wildlife habitat, reforestation, timber sales, interior roads and firebreak construction, and following best management practices.  Travis looks forward to assisting potential landowners with their hunt for finding the right piece of property based on their needs and management plans.

Matt Warren

Matt earned a B.S. in Forest Resource Management from Clemson University in 2013 where he also received a minor in Business Administration.  Matt is also a graduate of Horry-Georgetown Technical College where he acquired an A.S. in Forest Resources with an emphasis on Wildlife Management in 2010.  Matt began his career at Wise Batten Company and American Forest Management where he assisted both private and industrial forest landowners.  In 2018, Matt joined the Milliken Forestry Company and Rural Land Investments teams where he continues to provide forestry and real estate services in South Carolina. He has over 8 years of experience in forest management.  His forestry skills include timber appraisals, harvest budgeting, and planning, forest inventory, data collection and management, wildlife habitat improvement as well as marketing timber and reforestation. Matt manages approximately 12,000 acres of forest land located throughout South Carolina’s Lowcountry.  He also serves as the manager of Milliken Forestry Company’s Beaufort, SC office. Matt is a Registered Forester in South Carolina and Georgia, is certified by the Society of American Foresters, a Certified Prescribed Fire Manager as well as a licensed real estate agent in South Carolina.

Nicky has been a business owner for over 15 years. Starting out in the Landscaping Industry and transitioning into environmental/storm water management, maintenance, and inspections. Having obtained his real estate license 10 years ago, Nicky has helped many buyers and sellers successfully reach their goals. Helping clients visualize a property's true potential before or after the sale, and helping to put that vision into action, is his true enjoyment. Nicky enjoys traveling around South Carolina and meeting new people throughout the state. He also enjoys Hunting, Fishing, and shooting with his 2 sons.
